In February, the ‘Fondazione TicinoCuore’ (Ticino Heart Foundation) donated five defibrillators to SwissABILITY. These life-saving devices will be shipped to the Desire Charitable Hospital and Rehabilitation centre in Tanzania. They will be used in the hospital’s two operating theatres, on the ambulance and in the emergency room.<\/p>\n

These devices will soon be shipped out along with various pieces of dental equipment and a dental chair. Thanks to the contribution of some Swiss dentists with the Soccorso Dentario Ticino (SDI)<\/a>, the hospital in Kibaha will soon have a fully equipped dental practice.<\/p>\n
