The training week in Uganda was intense and full of enthusiasm. The activities took place in theworkshop of the Mulago National Referral Hospital<\/em>, located in the immediate vicinity of the university hospital in Kampala. <\/p>\n The 21 trained orthopedic technicians<\/strong> (P&O) worked side by side with a large group of third-year P&O students, practicing together how to apply the MonoLimb technology. The workshop, which was large enough to accommodate all participants, enabled 15 prostheses<\/strong> to be made for the beneficiaries. <\/p>\n At the end of the training, the team traveled west to visit the new Nkolo Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Center<\/i> (NORC), located a few kilometers from the premises that had been rented since its foundation.<\/p>\n Subsequently, Roberto Agosta and Nelson Mubiru attended the conference of the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists<\/i> (NOAT) in Eldoret, Kenya.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”|300|||||||” hover_enabled=”0″ locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n\n
