SwissABILITY doesn’t stop even in summer and flies to Uganda for a nationwide training in Bidibidi with a clear objective: to make physical rehabilitation accessible to an increasing number of people throughout the country and lay the foundations for a solid and lasting rehabilitation sector. This will enable people with disabilities to finally rely not only on accessible healthcare services but also on a supportive attitude and the motivation to continue fighting for their future.
The senior trainer for the mission was Nelson Mubiru, our partner and founder of the Nkolo Rehabilitation Services orthopedic center in Luweero, in central Uganda.
