During the first week of August, an orthopedic training was held in Uganda entirely organized by our partner Nelson Mubiru, orthopedic technician and trainer.
From August 7 to August 11, in partnership with the British NGO Legs4Africa, we undertook a training mission at the Banjul Mobility Centre in The Gambia. This training is part of our project in Senegal, where we are building an orthopedic centre in Ziguinchor. As the centre is still under construction, we were hosted by the Banjul workshop, which our partner Legs4Africa has been supporting for a decade. This is our first interregional training: we have in fact welcomed technicians from Senegal, The Gambia and Sierra Leone.
Finally, September will be a month full of events for SwissABILITY!
