A double mission for the Executive Director of SwissABILITY, Roberto Agosta, who traveled between Uganda and Tanzania to visit partners and their projects in order to support more and more people with disabilities.
In late October and early November, Roberto first traveled to Uganda, to Luweero, to visit our partner Nkolo Rehabilitation Services Limited. It was a highly productive visit that allowed him to witness the commitment, passion, and dedication to work by Nelson Mubiru and his entire team.
In the following days, Roberto traveled to Tanzania to visit another partner: the Desire Charitable Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre in Kibaha (DCHRC). This is an innovative hospital specializing in rehabilitation, impeccably managed by Director Stella Kitali and Clinical Director Bryceson Kiwelu.
From November 3rd to 5th, SwissABILITY had the honor of being among the sponsors and speakers at the fourth conference of the Association of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technicians of Tanzania (APOT). We had the opportunity to present Monolimb technology and the Vice-President of Zanzibar acknowledged SwissABILITY with a certificate of appreciation.
