On February 14, 2026, we had the pleasure of being guests on the program Diamoci una mano, broadcast by RSI and hosted by Clarissa Tami, alongside co-host Mari Luz Besomi-Candolfi. It was a wonderful Valentine’s Day morning in the company of over 30,000 listeners, with whom we shared the value of our work and our projects in Africa. As we were reminded in the studio, “giving oneself to others is an act of love.”
Representing our association were two members of the operational team, Roberto and Marnie-Jane Agosta, together with the president of our association Tomislav Matiević. They were joined by volunteers Ilona Blanchut and Marta Lavorato, who had recently returned from an intense three-month experience at a rehabilitation center in Ghana, carried out last year in collaboration with SUPSI and SwissABILITY. Their enthusiastic and authentic account offered the audience a direct insight into the concrete impact of volunteer work in the field.
The episode was enriched by pleasant musical interludes and moments of sharing, which brought listeners even closer to our mission and the values that guide our daily work.
