This was the second time SwissABILITY had organized a training course in Tanzania. Existing relationships were strengthened and new friendships were formed.

There are now 60 P&O technicians in the country capable of producing MonoLimb prostheses. This greatly strengthens the ability of this innovative technology to spread to prosthetic laboratories across the country, benefiting many amputees seeking affordable prostheses.

The conference of the Association of Prosthetic and Orthotics of Tanzania (APOT) was an extremely positive experience. These annual meetings offer valuable networking opportunities for the SwissABILITY team.

We look forward to renewing the relationships we have established with the many people we have met during this mission in the coming years.
